HYA Training Limited reviews its COVID risk assessments on a regular basis and in consideration of the recent increases in the infection rate, both locally and nationally, we have updated our procedure on the use of face coverings when visiting our site.
With effect from Wednesday, 23rd September 2020 and until further notice, the wearing of face coverings in the communal areas below will become mandatory for anyone attending our centre:
• The toilet area
• All corridors and stairways
• The vending machine/canteen area.
Students, HYA Training staff and visitors:
All students/staff/visitors who are not exempt should have a clean face covering readily available. These should be put on prior to entering our centre and must remain in place until arrival in the classroom/ office when they can be removed and placed in a sealable plastic bag.
Face coverings must remain in place throughout the duration of your visit, please follow the advice provided on entry at reception. We do have a supply of disposable face coverings should you require this, please ask our staff member on reception to provide you with one prior to entering our site. Social distancing, hand hygiene and the use of face coverings remains a key feature of our hygiene and safety measures. Increasing evidence is now available that wearing face coverings can reduce the transmission of coronavirus from an infected person to others. The wearing of face coverings is to be considered a social responsibility for those who can wear them, with the aim of providing increased reassurance to all students, staff members, visitors and contractors, including those most vulnerable to serious illness.
If you are concerned that you may have coronavirus or may have come into contact with someone who has, please do not attend your appointment/class with your Tutor/Assessor at HYA Training. Instead, please contact your Tutor/Assessor at the first available opportunity.
